surprised they couldn't find a spot for Earnest Brown.

also would like to know what they saw from Skowronek in his limited action that was better than what they've seen from Tristan Jackson the past couple years.

and surprised they kept Funk over Jones. I thought watching them both play, Jones was way more shifty than Funk and also doesn't come with a long injury history. Is it because they invested a pick in him vs Jones who was an UDFA? that doesn't make sense because they just dumped Brown who was a 5th rounder, and Funk was only a 7th. would really like to know the reasoning behind that decision. Plus, with the Rams injury history at the RB position, it would make more sense to keep 4 instead of just 3.

Apparently Jones’ ankle injury is worse than expected, so that is the reason they kept Funk as they need healthy RB’s.

still think Jones is better than Funk overall though when healthy.

These five guys should have made this team especially Lawler. That is why keeping Hopkins was so ridiculous. Hopefully they can bring them all back after they clear waivers.

I firmly believe that once McSnead like a given player, they will keep him at all costs or until it is pointless to keep the player for no apparent reason. Cases in point: Skowronek, Hopkins, Allen, three guys that should have been cut and then maybe brought back on the PS except for that waste of a Center, Allen.

McSnead are going to regret hanging Trishton Jackson out there because somebody in need of pretty darn good receiver is going to snap him up. Same goes for Lawler, Brown, and maybe Jones. If they clear waivers, they'll all be back.

This guy, although highly talented, is never going to be right and healthy in the NFL. Lewis is another one. OKO is continually going on the IR and he'll be there again this year. That is why the Rams are really hoping Lawler clears waivers because he is finally healthy and playing as good or better than OKO. Better yet, the Rams just should have placed OKO on the year-long IR and kept Lawler outright.

Here is the projected 17-man PS this year. Teams are permitted to carry this many players for a number of reasons. The NFL should just make a 20-man PS permanent and be done with it. Pircher is our International Player Development Program player this year. Didn't see Xavier Jones name on this speculated list. Haydel's name is missing too. Otis Anderson is so small at RB, Atwell might be bigger. What the hell is with McSnead and their aversion towards big RBs?? Good to see Lawler and Kiser on that list. I hope they clear waivers by the end of the day. Brown is on there too.

Sucks about Kiser but can’t say that I’m all that surprised by it. When you’re a middle of the draft pick and have been injury prone, it makes the decision pretty easy.
yeah and he wasn't very good when he was playing. PFF didn't have his grade that high.

Eric Banks was cut outright with no recall and he was signed by the Chargers, a walk across the hall. Christian Roseboom is headed to the Chiefs PS. Banks was among a crowded D-Line. Roseboom had a pretty good preseason but is headed to KC. Looks as though Lawler will clear waivers as no other Rams that were cut were picked-up yet. Xavier Jones' ankle is bad enough to be released as an injured player. He may end-up being brought back and placed on the IR for the year. Other than that, in a few hours our PS will be formed and probably released.

feel bad for Trishton Jackson.

he proved he is capable, and yet still didn't make the team or PS while Skowronik showed nothing and made the team.
