Harris, Rochelle, and the Browns on the D-Line were great picks and could really bring the lumber making a serious difference on both the O and the D. Jones at LB is beginning to surprise some people and Corbett appears to be quite good at Center.

Harris is just a freak and he does indeed present match-up problems for a opposing defenses with that 4.39 speed at 6'5". Plus, it appears he has Cooper Kupp hands.

I am beginning to warm-up to this draft and perhaps a steaming, hot helping of crow may be in order for me later in the season. WE shall see. LOL!

You wont be the only one Retro. Plenty of us didn’t like the draft initially.

the problem is most of the picks are developmental picks, so do they actually pan out, and if so, when? That is the biggest question mark on the draft.

and I still thing Atwell is a gadget player and not worth the pick they used to get him. Unless he can become Tyreke Hill 2.0, he will never justify the pick. Much like Everett, who flashed here and there, but never consistent and never lived up to his draft position.

Don't know if there is any truth to this but it is a possibility in the realm of possibilities out there. WE shall see if this develops into a reality or this is just Ramsey's pipe dream.

Rams can’t afford Gilmore in any aspect.

not salary wise, and certainly not in draft picks to acquire him.

Ramsey is living a pipe dream.

i have no issues with having a helping of crow ,but my stance is still firm on that lowsy 2nd round pick. If this guy was at least 180lbs then maybe i wouldn't care so much.

A lot of sports pundits have expressed similar apprehension, Jermaine. It was just too high of pick slection to warrant taking the guy that many agree he would have been there into the fourth round. Won't it be a kick in the ass if Nsimba Webster beats this guy out?

IDK BattleLyon. I'd like to see the Rams keep A-Rob and Brown together on the DT front as the defense under Morris is going to shift to a 4-3 front as base in all likelihood but it is not set in stone yet..

In that case, wouldn't Donald be inside?

They line up Donald everywhere on the line, so essentially he plays DE and DT. As long as either Robinson or Brown are able to slide over whenever Donald is at the DT position, I don’t see why they couldn’t have Robinson and Brown both on the field at the same time.

this is all due to Donald’s versatility on the line.

Sure. I'm not sold on them switching to a 4-3 after re-signing Floyd anyway (with Lewis/Oko in reserve).

Agreed, but has Morris ever run a 3-4 defense?

I thought he was a 4-3 guy

A good coach maximizes the players he has instead of forcing square pegs into round holes. If they paid Floyd only to force him into a 4-3, the front office has some explaining to do. The previous defense was never a true 3-4 either, so it will probably in that mold, taking aspects of each when appropriate.

The FO has some explaining to do anyways for giving Floyd that ridiculous contract on numbers that were inflated in a number of categories. Granted he had a pretty good season last season but it was nothing near what he had with the Bears.

Somebody in the FO insists on doling out these ridiculous contracts that I thought they learned their lesson from with the Goff/Cooks/Gurley messes that we are slowly getting out from under. I would wager that the someone in the FO is none other than Kevin Demoff!! Mofo needs to be run-over with a damn city bus!!

Does that mean you are volunteering for the job, Retro?

Because we don't have a first rounder until 2024, this is the kind of guy we won't have a shot at and because McSnead disdain first rounders, this is the kind of beast we need but will never see right out of college.
