i disagree with our WR/TE should be in the top 5. What has higbee done to deserve a top 5 rating? he had pedistrian stats last yr? Coop/Woods are good but that collective group should probably be where they are at. At the end of the season i'd probably agree with you on that.

I have to agree with you a bit here but plug in Stafford + Jefferson year 2 and 2 speedsters to go with Woods and Cupp who have been solid. Only knock on those 2 are Cupp seems to not finish the past 2 years. Bobby Trees has been great. Higbie has been pretty solid so I’d throw him in the middle.

One of the reasons we did not pursue Julio Jones (other than the obvious reason we do not have the assets to bargain) is because we are loaded at the WR position and I think our TE picture is pretty good. I would not be surprised if we see more of Kendall Blanton this year as he is a bigger version of Everett. Besides, he has hung around for nearly four years now waiting for his chance to play more snaps and McSnead love loyal players..

I had high hopes for Long, but he apparently hasn’t developed as expected.

Maybe. But I would think mentally he needs a year to adjust. Athleticism makes up for a lot but he’s got a lot to learn too. His background is interesting tho. Kid has been through a lot so he very well could blow up into a special player

Any thoughts on how good the Rams will be this year? I know its early but it seems that all the pieces of the puzzle are put together. I'm feeling optimistic because it looks like the Rams have some very motivated young players to work with and some very good veteran players to help them along.

It’s really hard to say because their schedule is tough.

how quickly does the offense mesh? How does the defense mesh with so many new pieces and how much of a drop off do they have from being #1 last season? How much will the team miss Staley? Never been very impressed with Morris defenses and schemes.
