Damn Straight ALR!! They will probably put Scott, the kid from Penn State that caught one of Hekker's fake punt throws earlier in the year back for KO returns. Ya never want anyone to get hurt but Fassell is now going to see the error of his ways if he puts Scott back there and he runs one back for a score. Natson will get the boot he should have received last year after that. The guy is a complete liability and it would be really stupid to keep Natson around after he goes through recovery. Sort of like bringing Allen back at Center or Havenstein at tackle. You wait, they will put Havenstein back and watch the performance efficiency that Evans is now demonstrating drop-off which is the LAST damn thing we need now on the O-Line. Evans is eventually going to replace Havenstein and another Fisher selection will be gonso.

The injury bug bites again. Natson suffered a hamstring injury in their win over the Cardinals on Sunday and will miss the next 4-6 weeks.
WTF? So who will fill in for him? :gaah:
Wonder if it came from that dumb mistake of him running it out of the end zone instead of just taking the touchback.

Rams place Natson on IR and call-up TE Kendall Blanton from the PS. Big dude. 6'6 265 and the dude can run. Now McVay has 4 TEs on the active roster. Good resources to operate the Jumbo. Blanton had a real good preseason and should be a nice addition.

Nsimba Webster is the new punt returner and Henderson gets the KO return duty.

No idea why Henderson hasn’t been the guy on KO all year. Unless he got a case of the Tavons early in camp
It takes guts to do that job in the NFL, you need to think fast. The thing I liked about Natson is that he was fearless. I think the Rams will miss him. I hope Henderson can get up to speed fast. The Rams need to play mistake free football on Sunday.

So that final play from scrimmage in Week 5 on TNF vs the Hags looms large.

GZ makes that, and the Rams would be the 5th seed ahead of both Minny, and Seattle.

Still alive these Rams though. I do think they can catch the Vikes, should the Vikes lose one of their last three it would need to be to the Bears or Packers.

In that scenario, provided the Rams win out, the Vikings would have 4 NFC losses, and the Rams would have 3.

Gotta win out though, unless Minny drops two and the way the Bears won this week (Hell, even the way the Chargers won this week!) and the Pack being the Pack, we could even survive a San Fran loss.

The first Hawks game was unfortunate, but the Pitt game was worse.

As for the offense now, where has McVay been the past year and a half regarding Higbee?

They clearly knew something the rest of us hadn’t seen when they gave him the extension, and now we see it.

But, why has it taken this long to get him involved?

It’s like he’s been determined to get Everett more involved in the offense. The previous couple of seasons under McVay, getting it to Higbee (along with a solid dose of Gurley) early is what helped open up the passing game to get it to everyone else.

I would buy that, except for the fact that with the exception of a few games, Everett was a none factor too.

McVay has never consistently utilized his TE’s in the passing game until the past 2 games.

Once a cheater, always a cheater?

Why do they need to be filming the Bengals sideline anyways? They have 1 win all season

The NFL will just bury this story or give the Pats a slap on the wrist, again.

And, there is no way Belicheat didn’t know what was going on. Everything runs through him.
They probably have been filming all of their opponents but only got caught filming the Bengals.

The people on Amazon are overwhelmingly picking the Cowboys over us right now. Love that, means we will likely kick ass!!! :suds:
Two teams trending in different directions, so they pick the one trending downwards. Makes perfect sense.

Something has clicked into place for the Rams. The defense is playing like they are the number one defense in the NFL and the offense has come around and looks like the Rams of last season.
I think that is because they now have a younger faster and stronger O-Line that seems to be very well coached. Goff has time and space to make big plays and Gurley is hitting the gaps and holes they are opening.
The new defensive backfield are playing lights out, Wilson had no one to pass to, the coverage was perfect for most of the game. Run defense has greatly tightened up too.
Look out! here come the Rams.
