Well...

At least they won't get the #1 pick overall (Jags & Raiders will fight for that one). And they already have good DEs, so they won't trade up for Clowney (thank God).

Could we see Teddy Bridgewater in St. Louis? Not sure how I'd feel about that yet.

I'd take Clowney and convert to a 34 if I were them. Kick Long to a 5-tech (where he always belonged IMO), put Quinn and Clowney at OLB and Laurinaitis and Ogletree inside.

Find a decent NT and that's a scary front 7.

Who will block for him?

Especially with Ogletree playing back at ILB and a good secondary. That would be downright scary.

Thank God they can't move the ball & they keep that defense on the field all game.

Go Redskins!

Jacksonville is too good at this (being bad) to lose this battle. Oakland has already won a game. However, would Jacksonville trade with Oakland knowing that Oakland may stay with Pryor and want Clowney but the Jags wanting a QB, but not at the #1 spot? Of course, they'd show interest in Clowney both because he's good and to drive up trade value.

The Rams & Redskins aren't nearly bad enough to get high enough picks to get those guys IMO. I think both of these picks will be around the middle of the first by the end of the season.

I wouldn't want to face that defense at all, whatsoever. Clyde just messed up my morning putting these bad thoughts in my head. I don't want anyone of the projected top 5 players to play in our division.

Trade looking great for the Rams. Just when we thought Rams were moving forward they take 2 steps back.

A Clowney draft does sound like appealing. I always thought Robert Quinn dropped passed Aldon Smith and others in the draft because Quinn didn't have the 3 cone to be a coverage 3-4 OLB but in hindsight its just because they were amazing talents. The Rams could use Quinn mostly as a rusher and have Nix, Long and Brockers on the Dline in a 3-4 scheme.

I do think Clowney is a good enough prospect to consider switching defensive schemes. I just don't think the Rams can afford to spend both picks on what is sadly the strongest part of the team. They absolutely need a Safety and need a CB as well because they would be pretty daft to pick up Finnegan's option at 9+mill. Realistically, a double top 5 draft would involve Jake Matthews and an attempted trade down for secondary help or Seastrunk at RB.

There's also the prospect of everybody getting fired, a new GM, and one of these top 3 QBs with Jake Matthews.

I still expect RG3 to carry them to a division win. I don't think either team picks above 10 at the very earliest (ignoring combining the picks to move up of course).

If the Rams do ANYTHING with those picks other than find their next franchise QB, they'll continue to stink for the next 5 years.

Manziel is good but I don't think he is the answer for the Rams

True, but they could have trade ammunition to get at least one of those guys. I think they will stick with Bradford, so Clowney could go there. Especially with Jacksonville and the Raiders looking to rebuild.
