It's actually starting to look like a stadium. I believe this is a big win for Vegas...teams that have fans that travel well will head there in droves...especially if for the teams in cold weather cities in Nov and Dec. I'm in eastern Utah and it's 450 miles away...if I can get reasonable tickets I'll head there for a game next year in Dec...don't even really care about who they're playing. My guess is this will be a huge win for Vegas.

I am thinking it will be great for Vegas and for the Raider's bottom line. As far as home crowd goes, not so much. The old Oakland home was a dump but that was a loyal rowdy fanbase that occupied the stadium.

I don't think they'll have much of a home field advantage either...but for fans of other teams it might be easy to take advantage of.

Yeah, I'm interested in going to a game there as well. I feel sad for Raider fans, but the Oakland fans who stuck with the team after they moved to Los Angeles can probably stomach the team being in Las Vegas. For the fans that are in Southern California, maybe having them in Vegas is even better.

Early on they should have a home field advantage and if the produce wins it will stay that way. Now the advantage could dry up real fast if they continue to put out a sub quality product.

All that said the usual great road followe teams will have a large number of road fans from the get go.

There's a good chance The Packers visit LV in 23.

And I read it, at first, as in how bad we are as team... ya know, cos we suck.

:dhd:

Actually, I don't think they're that bad. They do make critical mistakes at critical times, but they seem to be in the games they've played. Just need to clean up some things.

Then we at least agree they are stupid?

I.suspect a large number of tickets will be bought by the casinos and given to casino patrons who may not be raider or big football fans
