The kid was awesome. Rafa gave up the last few games but he gave the match a good go. But that young Ozzie stayed loose and aggressive right until the end. Good stuff.

it's weird to see rafa go out to a teenager ranked outside the top 100, but he hasn't looked all that great the past week. he'll be back at fully strength for the us open, though. i like his chances of making the final and winning in queens.

What the hell was up with Rafa's return game today? He's normally the best returner in the world not named Djokovic and today he couldn't get back any first serves to save his life. His forehand was actually pretty solid today, but the rest of his game was pretty subpar.
