Maclin is not worth anything close to Dez. Just because the fat walrus overpaid for him doesn't mean Chip should have. I think the 9 million they offered Maclin was more than fair. Now we will see Maclin's value come crashing down to earth playing with Alex Smith. Hope he enjoyed his career year playing in Chip's offense.

Sure. He can be happy with Sam or try to get Marcus. I'd rather Sam but I'm letting Chip roll with it a couple years. He'll be seriously successful or a total flop but he's doing it his way. After the last 30 years as a fan I'm buckled in.

That's where I'm at as well. Where is the harm in letting his plans play out. If he flops he's gone in short order. If he flies then maybe we get to the top of the hill, sometime before I go in the ground would be nice.

You can think whatever you like, but in some cases what you think will be wrong. This is one of those cases.
