You are Gary Kubiak, what do you do moving forward? Do you continue with Osweiler? Do you put in Manning when he is healed?

For me, stick with Osweiler. I like Manning but I think his legacy is clouding some judgments. I can see him lying about his injury to get back on the field as soon as possible and I don't want a rush back from injury to result in another 4 interception/loss type game.

If Manning heals and proves he is the better choice in practice, you go that route. Osweiler is going to have some growing pains but he will not take chances and helps out in so many other aspects. He seemed to improve the run game which helps and that gives the defense a much needed breather.

I am just afraid that Manning will go back in when Manning says he is ready and that could have negative results.

What would everyone else do? Osweiler for the season? Bring back Manning? Play Manning if ready and if needed?

I think the Broncos should start Manning once he's 100%. You don't bench a QB w/ 265 career starts for 1 w/ only 1 start.

I think this has the potential of getting ugly in the weeks to come. The media will make sure that it gets all twisted up, no matter what unfolds. My best guess is that the Broncos organization and most of the fans think that Brock gives us a better chance to win for the remainder of the season but there's the little sticking point of benching one of the greatest QB's to ever play the game.

One thing that I've noted since Elway started to oversee the Denver Broncos. He's level headed, aggressive and following in Bowlen's model of "win championships". As rough as it may be for PFM, I'm confident that the Broncos will make their decisions with a team first attitude. I think Manning going onto IR is the only way to save some face in all of this. A real possibility but we don't want to head into the playoffs with an Osweiler/Siemian combo at QB. Some of how all of this gets handled will possibly come down to how Peyton handles it.

If Osweiller keeps playing like that, you don't switch back to Manning. Osweiller should definitely get the start against the Patriots, and going back to Manning next week would be a mistake.

Manning's legacy is one of the greatest qb's to ever play the game, but he's not that guy anymore. It would be monumentally stupid to go back to Manning simply because he used to be great. I believe the Broncos are smart enough to recognize that right now, in 2015, Brock looks like a better qb than Manning.

Way premature to compare to some legendary quarterbacks but this feels like a combo of Favre to Rodgers with Beldsoe to Brady mixed in. No doubt Oz should be the man but it gets a little tricky as the team prepares to go into the playoffs with the best depth and chances to win.

Were the Broncos winning because Manning or despite him?
Honest question, I have not been following them yet.
Oz looked pretty dam good yesterday.

I agree. Have to think he realizes it's been a long time since he's thrown a ball like the Oz to Latimer TD yesterday. Hopefully he just works to get himself healthy, be ready to go if called upon, and let the coaches coach the team. I think he is likely to do that.

Mixed bag. Manning has not had a turnover free game this year, which hurts. He also does not help out the run game. When left to play Manning ball, largely in a need to score now scenario, he has been good.

Largely, I think the team has been winning in spite of Manning. Against the chiefs a week ago the majority of the chiefs points came off turnovers. Their average starting position was in broncos territory. I bet without Manning in, the broncos win that one.

It's Brock's job to lose. This isn't tough to figure out in my opinion. Manning since the last half of last season has been garbage. Numbers don't lie and guys his age don't get healthy. How many interceptions and wobbly passes and just terrible decisions by Manning does it take to say it's time to move on? Will Brock possibly struggle versus the Patriots? Possibly, but I know what Manning does versus the Patriots and it's ugly. At least Brock has some mobility and can make all the throws. Manning may be able to show a flash here and there but he is not the same QB he was 4 years ago. That is obvious. Injured or not. Looks like Kubiak has made his decision for this week. It's Brock.

You bench QB's that lead the NFL in interceptions. What Manning has done in the past has nothing to do with now. QB's like Manning at his age are never 100% health wise.

Fair enough. I knew Manning's thrown alotta picks this year but didn't realize he's leading the league.

I kind of have stated this so I will try and keep brief and to the point .

I only want Manning back one way running what he is Screens and all the plays of 2013 yes you could add 10 or so plays of Gary's each week and see what we pull off each week and keep what works ! this what we have seen for the first 10 weeks ...Not so much do I ever want to see ever again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best Qbacked game for the Broncos all season - was Oz against the Bears.

On top of that - Oz is a better fit for the base Kubiak Offense. PFM is now an expensive back up when he gets well.

Obviously injuries and fading skills are the biggest reasons why Manning is now terrible, but it was also big trouble for him when Elway made the switch from Fox to Kubiak. Fox is a defensive coach and pretty much just let Manning run the offense the way he wanted. Kubiak obviously is an offensive guy and wanted to incorporate his style of offense. The Kubiak offense just isn't a fit for Manning, but it's a GREAT fit for Osweiler. It's hard for me to see Manning getting his job back. It's Osweiler's job to lose, and I think he will RUN with it!

If you want to win a Super Bowl a healthy Peyton Manning gives the team the best chance. Problem is Manning can only run his no huddle offense so no way even a hybrid of Kubes offense will work with Manning.

I think you got to go with a healthy Manning. Elway created his situation. He needs to look at the immediate season and not long term.

Even though I'd just go with Brock the rest of the way. Get PFM healthy let him play in playoffs. I expect him to wilt under playoff lights again because that's PFM in a nutshell.
