my thing is he is smart so yes that will develop I am sure but 3 years should buy a little more .. it might be normal all the same .. I am giddy about one thing I seen last night and am now positive that Brock will make it that side arm release was crazy fast and dead on

Unless something crazy happens I just don't see how anybody can think we would go back to Peyton barring some kind of injury to Brock. I think at that point you lose the locker room. Most every single player on both sides of the ball seem to be responding to his play. He has brought an energy to this team that hasn't been there for weeks.

From what I saw over the last two weeks their should be no controversy, go with Brock.
Ride that horse until it breaks down.

Manning wasn't on the sidelines? Anybody get a reason for that? I could understand not going to Chicago - I saw footage of him out on the field before the game.

The team didn't think standing around in the cold was the best thing for his foot. They also wanted him to have a chance to analyze the game and help with half time adjustments. It is hard in my opinion to see what is all going on in the game from the sideline.

Team wanted him to stay warm while he healed.

I read he came down at half-time to help Brock with some adjustments that he saw from upstairs. It is definitely easier to see what is happening from upstairs (perhaps that is why PM wasn't at field level). Field level view is about as bad as it gets.

Thanks guys - sounds better. I'm used to seeing the guys on the sidelines.

I think the Broncos should start Manning once he's 100%. You don't bench a QB w/ 265 career starts for 1 w/ only 1 start.
Manning should carry the clipboard and be prepared if Osweiler gets injured.

Correct. He was upstairs during the game and came down at halftime to talk to Brock about what he had seen from there.

I remember years ago, my sister was dating a guy nobody liked - he was smug, condescending and seemed to revel in putting a wedge between my sis and the rest of the family ..

When they broke up, we were all very happy - and relieved .. All the talking while they were dating only served to drive her back to him ..

Then, about a week before the holidays, she told the family that she was getting back together with this guy - and that he was coming to our house for holiday dinner ...

Can you imagine how we all felt ??

The thought of Manning playing again for this team gives me that same sinking feeling

I couldn't agree more! The funny thing is, I see quite a few analysts (Steve Young is one example) are just assuming that Peyton will get the job back when he's healthy. I just don't understand how people can assume that, after what Osweiler did for the team the last 2 weeks. I will be very surprised if Kubiak goes back to Manning. This is Brock's team now and it will be for a very long time!

Tomlinson was singing the same tune on NFL Network. I have a lot of respect for Manning, but Kubiak and Elway owe it the fans and those other players on the team especially- to do the right thing and let Osweiler take the reins for the rest of the year. What we've seen these past two weeks is how Kub's offense is supposed to function. Manning can't run it and I don't think he can be very effective running "his" old offense anymore.

I am starting to get a very good feeling about this team having the components to go the distance this year. I would love to see NE stumble again and the Broncos get HF advantage....

Yes, in all seriousness, there are too many differences between the two QBs to go back and forth and expect the team to adjust ..

The success of the running game the past two weeks has as much to do with how defenses are playing it as it does how we are running it . . It is no coincidence that the run has been so successful since Oz stepped it

It is working, and it would be insanity to go back to something that wasn't working

Lucas told us in the offseason we should go to Brock, and he was right. He swam upstream and he is a visionary

Of course he also said we should go with Tebow and hated the Manning signing in 2012. That wasn't so visionary. :behindsofa:
