LMAO, Aikman is a HOF QB with 3 Rings, but he's sent to the trading block. I guess 22 would be traded if Murray were on his team, since Murray has the Cowboys rushing record....

I would love to hear your comparisons of Staubach and Aikman to a Qb in today's game.

Today's game favors the offense, primarily passing attacks while Staubach and Aikman played in an era that was more run oriented. I think both would be successful in today's NFL.

The Rams are looking for a QB right now, yes the Rams would even take 35 year old Romo and hope he makes it through the season.

Who wouldn't take a starting quality QB on a $1M contract? Moot point since the Cowboys wouldn't trade him and accelerate all the dead money into 2016. Would the Rams gamble on an injured 35-year-old QB with a $17M contract. Given how eager we were to trade away a younger injured QB with a $13M contract i'd say no.
Foles will be a $6M decision for the Rams next year. We'd definitely like to upgrade the position but it's not likely to happen. Unless someone makes us an offer we can't refuse we'll stick with Foles and hope Mannion progresses.

I really hesitate to get into an argument about any of the 3 or 4 quarterbacks we've had, all were great......BUT ...I don't see Romo holding a clipboard for any COWBOY quarterback of any era...... He's thrown for a higher completion percentage, He has a higher passer rating.......He has a higher QBR........more touchdown passes.....more yardage....and people used to call Roger "captain comeback" Roger had 15 4th quarter comebacks....Romo has 25.......Staubach had 23 game winning drives/ 4th qtr......Romo has 29.. It truly does matter what teammates and coaches a QB plays with.

Non of those stats are comparable, because the League is flag football for QB's and Receivers today, it was actually still football when Aikman and Staubach played
