its like- ok- i get it- you get 100M no matter what- but its just too good for him personally in Miami...he has the right babysitters, he has no pressure to be the man as long as wade and or bosh are there, the fans seem to put up with his bullshit....if he goes to a different place and is the highest paid player and the team starts to lose- whether he is a model citizen or not the heat (no pun intended) is going to come down on him- and i would think you would even admit that Whiteside on his best behavior is still going to go through streaks where he acts an ass.

You go to the Lakers or something and are the highest paid player on the team- and the team isnt doing great in the standings - you BETTER be giving it 100% on the court ALL the time or your gonna get fried. I can see Whiteside getting slammed for that kind of thing- in a perfectly fair way in the media- and reacting in a very adverse way to it- IF ITS A LOSING SITUATION.....if the team is winning i think he can deal with it. If the team is losing and hes the highest paid player and things start going south i think it could get ugly really really quick.

I think BY FAR the best place for him personally is Miami- and hopefully he has someone with a brain around him that realizes that too and is looking out for him- instead of just trying to line their wallet.
