Hmm...interesting before Griffey was inducted into the HOF, not one other player has gotten 99% or more of the votes. A couple received 98% but Griffey is the only player to receive 99% or more. He got 99.3%.

I think it was more about his consecutive game streak. I swear he was the most overrated player ever but it was insanely durable. Gotta give him credit for that but not 98% lol

he gets picked in most where he is eligible... but we have been doing a lot of ALL-Star drafts and he is just WAY too expensive...

Yeah he always gets picked in non salary cap drafts. But he's not worth $19 if we do a $1 per AS game. Unless of course the object of the draft was to select the players who grounded into the most double plays, then he's the first pick of the draft!
