The Tigers have agreed to sign Prince Fielder to a nine-year, $200MM contract Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com tweets.
Miguel can play third.
I never said played it well but it appears to be in his future now.
They will have to make up for it with their bats. Might not be a problem for those two.
I don't think any pitcher is going to like facing a lineup with Miguel AND Prince.
elvis and gentry will be 5/5 with all bunt singles
Fielder is actually not bad defensively for a guy his size. He is surprisingly light on his feet.
Miguel may or may not work at third. It will depend on if he can drop some weight and show some improvement at the position. If not they could possibly move him to LF. Maybe that would be better anyway because I don't think they should force Inge out of his spot because of this sudden logjam.
