Scherff - 3rd Team OL
Meyer - 2nd Team K



So they pick Morris who had over 100 tackles but not Kirskey or Hitchens who were both near or over 100 tackles and the other 2/3 of what is considered one of the best LB corps in the country?



It sucks going 4-8.

I feel the only sure preseason recognition should go to Scherff. I think he's better than the 3rd team

Morris's stats are skewed. Iowa's defense struggles to stop anyone. The entire LBing crew has gaudy tackle totals because they can't get off the field. I'd be satisfied if Morris was 'Honorable Mention'.

Meyer and Cotton...sure would be nice if Iowa's special teams were more effective than what they currently are.
