Preseason Game #3 Patriots vs Carolina Panthers

According to all reports, Brady will play in this game. No one knows whether he'll start or JG will start. This one is for all the marbles as far earning a spot at the Patriots table.

The Panthers don't appear to be the juggernaut that they were last year, but they don't appear to be a push over either.

Both the Patriots offense and defense will be severely tested. I think we'll really get some insight as to who and what BB is thinking as far as personnel goes.

Don't forget, this one is on Friday night and not Thursday. I believe that the NFL Network is carrying this one. As far as the Boston area is concerned, Channel 7 WHDH (NBC) is covering this game.

I have to apologize...............NFL Network has decided not to cover the Patriots/Panthers game. NFL ALL Access is now scheduled according to the guide. I got a message on my TV that my recording of the game would be changed to WBZ which is CBS not NBC. You'll have to check your local CBS station to see if it's a national broadcast. On Thursday night, the Falcons at Dolphins is being nationally broadcast on NBC.

When I posted the information originally, I was looking at my TV and the setting I had for the game Friday. I have to assume that DirecTV screwed up.....again, I apologize.

I don't think the Pats should play Brady. There is zero point. Jimmy needs reps with the ones. Brady playing and then sitting for 5 weeks (Includes last preseason game) does nothing for the team.
