Preseason Game 2 vs Jets

Of course the results don't matter right now but boy...that new OL got pushed around last night and Matt took way too many hits. Almost a carbon copy of the last few games last year.

The Jets front 7 is stacked on the DL, and they're going to push several OLs around. Couple that with Greg Williams coaching like Greg Williams he called an aggressive game...lots of blitzing, stunting but enough flat out whippings that Coach Q has to be concerned. Ty Sambrialo got beat for a sack, Matthews got beat for a sack and got called for a hold on another play.

My golf buddy that has Falcon season tkts was at the game last night...said he went largely to see the new OL and he said the OL looked out of sync....he's not overly concerned because he doesn't think the 1s have played much together.

Thoughts? Did you watch any of it? I only watched the 1st half....and it really wasn't pretty.

I'm reserving judgement. When you're breaking in so many new starters it's going to take awhile to gel. Preseason games don't mean much and , as you know , Atlanta never cares about them . I would like to see us try and win at least one of these games though . When you're coming off 10/11 wins I get not caring but after going 7-9 I just feel like a little taste of winning might help get you back to business especially when you open on the road against a solid team

Sambrailo is not a very good OT...imo not much better than Shraeder, so I'm still in a wait and see mode, but yes at one point they had 4 new players on the OL when they took Mack out.

Agreed, too early to judge right now...They need some more snaps for sure.
