Russell Wilson looks to become the 12th QB to start 4-0 or better on MNF in their career.

Week 5 of the NFL season concludes tonight when the Seattle Seahawks take on the Washington Redskins in their first clash against each other on Monday Night Football (8:30 ET/ESPN).

Both teams come in after extended rest. The Seahawks had a bye in Week 4 following their overtime victory over the Denver Broncos. The Redskins played the Thursday night game in Week 4, losing 45-14 to the New York Giants.

The Seahawks have won eight straight games on MNF, the longest active streak in the series (their last loss came in 2004 against the Dallas Cowboys).

Russell Wilson is 3-0 in his career on MNF. Eleven quarterbacks have started 4-0 or better in their MNF career, the most recent being Philip Rivers from 2006-09.

The longest win streak to begin a career is seven by Neil O’Donnell from 1992-95.

Speaking of Lynch, he needs just one more rushing touchdown to move into sole possession of third place on the Seahawks all-time list, behind only Shaun Alexander (100) and Curt Warner (55).

There’s a good chance Lynch will break his tie at 44 with Chris Warren tonight as he has at least one touchdown in seven straight games (including playoffs).

• The Seahawks are 4-11 against the Redskins in the regular season, losing each of the last six meetings since their last win in 1998. Seattle, though, has won all three postseason matchups, most recently a 2012 NFC Wild Card game in D.C.

• Richard Sherman is still looking for his first interception of the season after leading the NFL with 20 from 2011-13.
