"I still have a lot left to offer a team" will be the quote.

What odds is Vegas giving on this?

A long with "I scored 60 in my last game, obviously I still got it."

Most field goal attempts in a game since 1984.

Kobe has 6 of the top 8. (CWebb & MJ have the other two.)

I think there's a bigger chance of the Lakers winning the title in 17-18 than there is of him coming out of retirement!

The stat line was looking kinda ugly even late into the fourth quarter (something like 17-45 FG and 5-20 on 3PT), but he turned it up late to make it a respectable 60 points on 50 shots. I'm being a homer here, but I would say that Curry had the better night, scoring 46 points on 24 FG attempts.

Kind of like Adam Podlesh. Whatever you do Hammer, do not post his "coming out of retiement" tweet.

You are a homer if you're bringing up Curry in a thread that has nothing to do with him.

Yeah I am not sure what 2 more years of age and not being in basketball shape will do for his game, but I doubt it will be good. And it wasn't just "fresh legs" this season. Not like he started the year on fire then wore down.

I think it depends on how soon the Lakers has a team that is a contender and one that not only can win a title, but one where Kobe can come in and play a similar role like what Ron Harper did for the Lakers and Phil Jackson. Then he could get his sixth ring and perhaps a seventh.
