If those offensive injuries/suspensions end up hurting Pitt, NE goes to Indy.

I'm amazed at the number of people picking the Raiders considering they haven't had a winning season since 2002. I can understand predicting them to make the playoffs but be in the final 4? Just seems like a crazy leap.

There is no way Derek Carr is going to be that advanced. Oakland might win division but they are probably out in wild card.

Whole lot of love for GB up in this thing. I'm not feeling it this year for them. Playing the NFC East plus Seattle and Atlanta in conference is rough. Sure, they kind of lucked out with the AFC South, but I'm not buying them for first or second seed and it would take that to get to the NFCCG IMO. All that stuff hanging over the team with Mathews and Peppers.

I can see people taking the Panthers, Seattle, Arizona, maybe Dallas or the vikes, just not feeling like a GB year.

If any year is the year to feel confident in GB this is the year. No way Rodgers has back to back un-Rodgers like seasons, they have one of the easiest schedules in the NFL, and of course Jordy is healthy and Lacy is back in shape. Rodgers is probably the most driven player in this league. You think he had fun last season?

I don't think it's crazy to pick a team with the best QB in the league to make a conference title game. Especially considering the factors I already mentioned.

Who said crazy? I said it's entirely common. Everyone loves their team this time of year. Lots of homer picks up here. Just doesn't make your opinion/views anymore valid than someone who doesn't agree. More people will be wrong with their assessments this time of year than will be right. That's a fact.

I know it's common for fans to make outrageous predictions for their teams but I'm specifically talking about the Packers chances this season. Even if I weren't a Packers fan I'd be cautious of them this year.

Same vote here, although I wouldn't call them the "chickens." If I wanted to bring Seattle fans out of the woodwork, I'd just say that Russel Wilson is not elite.

Hard to imagine the OL being worse than it was in the first half of last year. The OL in Neccessary Roughness was better than that group. There were a few games were I thought that some of the lineman were confused as to what their role was and thought they were supposed to ensure that the DL would get by them.
