Dont have to seed them. Just which 4 teams in each conference do you believe will remain after round 1.

Predictions should be interesting after the first two in the East.

In the West couple of locks IMO with the 2 that everyone thought would be there preseason. THe other 2 is a tough one today....

What you got?

West- Thunder, Spurs, Rockets, Clippers.

East- Pacers, Heat, Hawks, Wizards.

And you call yourself a Suns fan?

But in all seriousness based on the first 3 games they played this year, Phoenix can give Portland a series.

I do think we can compete with anyone in a 7 game series... but I'm not going to be a total homer just yet. haha. I'll be happy if we make the playoffs. It's been too long.

Detroit is consistently inconsistent. They're a good road team but a bad home team

Its amazing to ponder who will be the other 2 in the East.

I mean look at these names on this thread... WOW. Charlotte, Wizards, Pistons. Who would have thought.

Knicks, Bulls, Nets.... Shitting the bed. Now all 3 being hit with injury bug.

Paul George and Lebron James can spend the first 2 rounds sitting at home playing video games and the ECF will still be Heat vs Pacers. I think that instantly makes this the best rivalry in basketball

Or the worst conference past the top 2 in history.

I am torn between POR, SA and GSW. 1st 2 are OKC an HOU easily...yea I think it has to be POR and SA.

In the East give my DET ATL IND and MIA. I can see the arguments for WAS and CHA but MJ has had a hand in fucking up both of them so a safe bet is not betting on them.

It has to up there with the worst of the worst.

Western conference is going to be about matchups. Its also really deep so you kinda expect at least one underdog to get through but you never know. OKC is the favorite because I think they match up well with San Antonio. There are a couple of teams that can score with OKC so there is a chance they could go down but I dont see the Spurs doing it.

The West at the top is not as good as the East at the top, I will take MIA all day vs OKC and maybe IND...the only problem is IND's O is so stagnant sometimes and IND will do a better job against OKC's O than MIA did in the finals but that is still only slowing them down and IND can not keep up with even a slowed down OKC's O.

OKC matches up well in the West because they are by far the best in the West, yes the West has a lot of teams with good records but realistically they have 5 good teams (PHO and LAC are halfies...POR probably joins that elite halfy group come play off time) and 1 real contender right now.

The western teams are built for the regular season, offense, points and a faster pace. IND is built for the playoffs with it's amazing D and inside presence and MIA is just ELITE OFFENSE when healthy with very solid D.

I would hesitate to say that the Spurs aren't contenders. Indy is Miami's worst matchup but OKC and San Antonio can theoretically beat them as well. The Spurs' weakness is on the boards and Miami can't take advantage of that.
