We had a really really bad season......and yet we end up getting to play a New Years Day bowl game against a ranked SEC team who left a bad taste in our mouth just last year.....

Yer bein just like everyone else, Stool. Just want change because it creates a feeling of excitement around the program again......kinda like how we were excited when we hired Bo just a few years ago. It doesn't improve our chances any.....it just makes us feel good cuz we have a bunch of attention all of a sudden.

We would have to spend mega bucks to get a coach who can guarantee Championships here, and Nebraska just isn't ever going to do that. We will never go down as that program who sold out to win Championships......I guarantee you that.

We had 7 Freshmen playing up front on Defense.

We lost ourn All-American Offensive Guard.

We lost ourn 5 year Senior, 4 year starter at QB and were forced to start a Freshman in his place....

Things didn't exactly line up for a great season for Nebraska.

One more thing.....if anyone really thinks that losing Taylor Martinez wasn't the equivalent of losing 50% of our production this season.........then yer out of yourn freakin' mind.

I'm not saying that our team relied on him......but when you have a 4 year starter who was First Team All-Big Ten last season and holds records such as Most Yards and Most Touchdowns ever in a season by any Nebraska player......that is kind of a big deal.

We will win this game against Georgia due to 3 main reasons....

1) Motivation. You think our fanbase is bored with this matchup? The last thing that their fanbase and players remember is kicking the shit out of us about 12 months ago.

2) Players. If you watched the Georgia/Georgia Tech game, you could see how the season ending injuries which Georgia sustained had finally taken its toll. Murray going out is just too much for this team to handle, and they almost lost to a really bad Georgia Tech team because of it.

3) Cheating. Nebraska is finally on the juice. This is mostly speculation on my part, but I have a really good sense of when teams are cheating. I feel it in the air. 1 month of steroids should do wonders in this game.

On the flip side, there are only 2 reasons why Nebraska might lose this game....

1) Turnovers. If Abdullah doesn't fumble, that will be a good start.

2) Special Teams. I seriously wouldn't be opposed to just sending an all-out punt block on every punt and taking our chances.


See, that is only 2 reasons why we could lose......1 less reason than why we will win. Tharfor.....by reasons of mathematics......Nebraska will win.

One of the other things that you have to remember is this......

We are the goofiest team in America. Everyone expects us to lose this game by 10+ points because Bo Pelini is on the hot seat and Nebraska is trending downwards.....

So do you really think, given our track record, that Bo Pelini is going to make it that clear cut heading into next season??? Do you guise really think he's going to lose this game in epic fashion when he's already on the hotseat???

No way, he's too goofy. We're too goofy. We will win this game so that heading into next season folks start to have a little hope again.
