Eklund is a pretty smart dude. this is not sarcasm he has a 1/4 million followers on twitter and legions of haters that visit his site everyday. the guy is fucking brilliant for this to make it last so long for him to even get on sportsnet (to their chagrin) during the trade deadline some years ago was the cherry on the cake and the time I thought he would be done but he endured and got bigger. its all from hate he is despised but like that car accident or bad story in the paper you just have to look

those guys do not get him 238,000 followers on twitter. his made up rumours do and the way he presents them. I honestly believe 175K of those followers are CAnucks fans from forums.canucks.com lol

i really don't think the canucks are going to get a big return for luongo.. everyone knows they want to move him, and he's got a contract that isn't exactly desirable. look at nash.. superstar player, bad contract, the feeling that he has to be moved, and look what it got the jackets.. now add in the fact that he isn't even a starter if he stays, and you have the luongo situation

expecting anything more than a 1st round pick and a middle of the road prospect is relying on some GM to be bat-shit crazy IMO
