lets not get too bent out of shape about a 6th round pick who has played about 50 snaps in his pro career so far .

he is doing well in coverage and he can be coached on the other. he is still better then williams

Just read an interview with Tanard Jackson. If reinstated, I'm just not sure we can count on him. He said that until Haslett mentioned earlier that he would welcome Tanard back, he wasn't sure if he wanted to come back. This tells me his heart may not be in it and he may not be working out like he should. Remember, he hasn't played any meaningful football in close to 2 years. Just not comfortable that we can count on him even if he is reinstated. I would hate to see us cut someone to make room for Tanard and he either has a setback or just isn't the player he once was.

i wouldnt read too much into that . a lot of emotions go through a person when they make a big mistake and know the hurt people

now i wouldnt "count on " him but why not take a flier ? the worst that happens is it fails

we will need more safety help in the future so it doesnt hurt us .

It just depends on what the flier costs. We eventually have to make a roster spot. Who gets cut? That would be my only concern.

Hankerson on offense has been the biggest surprise. Consistency has been the big question for him. I'm hoping he had that aha moment and wants to be great.
Kerrigan on defense. Always been solid. Inside rushing now shows he is stronger. Relentless player who team may have to game plan more for than in years past. When Rak is playing with him, look out. Where is bananaboy to tell us how much of a wasted pick this was.

I don't think that he wasn't good at run defense, he just took very bad angles at times and didn't do a great job of breaking down when trying to tackle. He was known for being a ball hawk and laying the lumber when he connected, so for people to try and make him into a great S coming out of college is wrong. He was taken later in the draft for a reason, but as others have said, he can be coached and turned into something.
