That's cold enough for SC to asterisk the game. My jaw dropped when I heard that was a thing. Then again, the whole reason we moved our home games to Oct. was because they refused to come to S. Bend in November. Now they'll probably object to night games in Oct too.How does Kessler play when it's cool out. It could be in the 30's by gametime. While I wouldn't consider that cold, it's pretty cool compared to the past few games.
Holy moly. It's sposed to be that cold at tBend, Sat?How does Kessler play when it's cool out. It could be in the 30's by gametime. While I wouldn't consider that cold, it's pretty cool compared to the past few games.

Now is'nt is also known that Knutes wife wanted to go to So cal in November to escape the cold for a bit? So thats why ND goes in Nov to LA and USC goes to South Bend in Oct.
Hey man, don't talk about my wife!
lol. I hear she likes the sunshine , palm trees and shopping in Cali.
She does, but only travels by train and refuses to shop at Bazaars.
We can take the Spruce Moose. It can go from New York's Idewild Airport to the Belgian Congo in three hours. It's a 40 train ride from Chicago to LA . I'm sure it goes by in a flash. Don't trust those aeroplanes.
Yes, am sure Mrs. Rockne loved getting away, so the lore of the series began. Now is'nt is also known that Knutes wife wanted to go to So cal in November to escape the cold for a bit? So thats why ND goes in Nov to LA and USC goes to South Bend in Oct.

But SC played games in S. Bend in Nov. up until the mid 80's I believe.
Real men play football in cold weather. I remember as a kid going out onto the school playground and doing the announcer thing... on the Frozen Tundra... buncha sissies these days, we can barely get Super Bowls played in real weather.
I went to Arizona a few years ago in January and left a nor'easter behind me and the people we were staying with said I would want my winter coat for the 50 degree weather at the Grand Canyon, it felt like shorts and t-shirt weather to me.
