Talked about this a bit in the cuts thread but also had 5/5 draft picks make the roster last year and all 5 again made it this year. 2 undrafted guys last year who made it, Thomas Incoom, Alex Palczewski who made it (Incoom who should start on our PS this year andn Palc made the roster again this year and is healthy . That is a lot of youth and shows you how much Payton puts into the guys he invest in during the draft. He wants to give these guys times. As a draft dork, I LOVE this. You could technically throw in Keidron Smith as an undrafted guy from last year although he didn't start on our roster as he was with Miami.

I am expecting us to claim a LB today and waive Devon Key as we have 5 S's right now and can probably store him on the PS. Although he is more of a special teams player then Smith so maybe we do want to keep both. I just think good chance we claim a LB today and number wise he is my best guess to go. Pretty sure the team hasn't told him his spot is official yet like they did guys like Watson, Crum, Bailey, Smith etc... He seems to be in limbo as we scan waivers.

For sure.. I would think Johnson and Virgil both looking at other options. Both could easily have made the 53 just too deep here.

I really am surprised Badie came back but I love it too. You know I have always been high on Badie when we signed him off the Ravens PS.

For a guy who had a great PS and was only elevated once last year and on a roster that kept 4 TB's I give him even more love for being a true Bronco.

I think Brandon Johnson was a dumb cut but I also get it. Probably really the only cut I had a problem with but given our WR situation it isn't like it is going to hurt us. Just felt like we should have kept him.

Griffith is mauling over other offers vs us.


One positive to note.

Look at how may players we cut that other teams want to sign? It use to be like one player had a tough decision to make between our PS or others. Now we got 5-6 guys leaving us because the path is harder here. This is a great problem to have.

Also, would have loved to see B Johnson on our PS but I think he made a great decision. Goes to a team with maybe the weakest WR situation in the league. Good for him.
