Let's give them a 5th and Chris Culliver bum a$$:

Chiefs open to trading CB Flowers

Dan Pompei of Bleacher Report reports the Chiefs "are believed to be willing to deal" CB Brandon Flowers.

Flowers struggled mightily in DC Bob Sutton's press-man scheme last season, grading out as a bottom-15 cover corner at PFF. He allowed a 66.7 percent completion rate, 846 yards, and four touchdowns in his coverage, while QBs had a 103.9 rating throwing at him. Flowers has three years left on a six-year, $49.35 million deal and may be difficult to move. At 5-foot-9 and 187 pounds, he's best suited to fill the slot role. He somehow made the Pro Bowl last season.

Wow... unlikely they'll deal him IMO but certainly interesting they're throwing out feelers... probably a cap move TBH

I'd pass on Flowers. Can't believe he's already 28 years old. Great technique only gets you so far when you're getting up there in age & have marginal size / athletic talent.

Good thing Verrett has a higher upside as far as athletic talent goes.

I would be down for this trade. We could get a good CB and WR in the 1st round. Then we could maybe use our 3rd round picks to trade back into the 2nd round and get a DT or DE.

I have studied the draft board and determined that the best value the Cardinals can get in a trade to acquire more picks is with division rival San Francisco.
The deal would have the Cardinals trading their 20th pick in the first round to the 49ers for San Francisco's two second-round picks, the 56th and 61st overall selections.
This would give the Cardinals three second-round picks: 52nd overall, 56th and 61st. The 49ers would then have two first-round picks, at 20 and 30.

I would rather have the Niners trade with the Ravens or Dolphins. Why trade within your division?

The only way I'd trade for Flowers is if they took Ahmad Brooks (because that would insure there isn't a huge cap increase). But they don't need an OLB.
