Potential OC Candidates?

ANNNNNNNNND... Kubiak announced as Broncos HC. Gase,Rob Chudzinski and Brad Van Pelt are the final external candidates for the Rams OC position. Personally, I would like Chudz of the three but any of them are MILES ahead of Shotty...

I know a lot of you think Shotty was a bad OC but what the Hell, Brad Van Pelt is dead.

Couldn't resist commish, I'm sure you mean Alex Van Pelt.

Also I think Kyle Shanahan is still in the mix.

TBT - I think it ends up being Kyle when it's all said and done.

No, he is not. He is set to become Dan Quinn's OC in Atlanta. They are a package deal according to reports.

Certainly not on the surface vs Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Roddy White. Have the Rams done anything beyond ask for permission yet anyway?

Could end up with Gase as other jobs dry up.

No matter who the Rams get as OC the offensive gameplan isn't going to change much for the Rams. And rightfully so. Like it or not a spread em out offense is not what beats the Seahawks, Cards, or 9er's. It's a ground attack that sets up the pass. it's not about scheme its about players and the Rams just don't have them yet.

Since I'm now just getting over our season opening embarrassment to the Minnesota Vikings, I'm beginning to wonder who would want to be our OC under a coach who obviously thinks he's still in the 90's and who's not going to be coming back after his contract expires next year.

Seriously, who does that leave as LEGIT external candidates? Loggains, Hackett..who else?? Internally Cignetti is interviewing for the Browns OC job, and will probably get it.

So internally, who is worthy? Boras??

I would've liked to have seen Chud come in as I think he got a raw deal with Cleveland. But then again, why would he want to leave a successful organization for the Rams who could have another overhaul in staff if Fisher has a subpar record next season and not even sure if they'll be in St. Louis beyond next year?

Seriously who is the Rams quarterback? I find it a little backass were searching for an OC when we don't know who our quarterback is going to be. they better figure out what's going on with Sam. You would think you would have to know who your quarterback is before the OC to fit his style of game calling? Idk.

Did YOU really ask this question? Fisher all but said that Sam will be the QB assuming health of course. He just said he will have competition from "someone outside the buiding" #8 is the QB for 2015. And since Fisher is a RUN FIRST coach, truly the QB only matter a little. His saying he is a run first coach should be a stone cold lead pipe lock that he will take O linemen with his first 2 picks.

Yes I do need to ask it because I think it's a little silly to assume Bradfords just going to take a pay cut. Maybe he will but I don't know? Are they going to pay him the 14 million? If not and they cut him maybe he wants to start over with a new team? I find it a little strange it hasn't been done yet. It's not really up to Fisher it's up to Sam's agent.

I think it is really a formality. I think you will see that restructure done before Free Agency opens in March.
