i imagine in a few weeks we will have an answer
Brian Mitchell said 2 weeks last week. He could have been guessing...I don't know.

I read an article today that said the sale isn't going well. I think snyder is playing hard ball and daring bezos to make a bid. It seems Josh Harris might be it. I would rather an owner have just the commanders instead of other sports teams. Just my opinion.

Does anyone here think bezos is an option here at all?

He needs to step in and end this. If Harris bids 6.2 billion and bezos bids 7 billion, snyder will take the bezos bid. I could be wrong but I doubt snyder cares at the end of the day where 7 billion would come from.

Can't say. Time will tell. JP who has been saying for months that it's Bezos' team if he wants it for the first time said on air the other day that he thinks it's Harris.

I read the article you are referring to. It's the same one I mentioned earlier. I trust Snider more than a guy from the NY Post. Snider swears that Dan is selling and if he doesn't the NFL will make him.

I think Dan was expecting Bezos to jump in feet feet first and play hard ball with him. It's gotten to the point where Dan is hoping to hear from him. It's a power play from Jeff imo.

That's just a guess though.

$7 billion is a lot when the Bronco's just sold for $4+ billion.

What we know so far .... nothing. Sure there have been some news reports but really we know nothing. I have always seen 2023 as a throw away season with 2024 being the year a new owner starts making decisions.

Things to remember, the training complex in Ashburn was built 50+ years ago and Dan has done little to improve it. Fed Ex field built in PG County because everyone else did NOT want it gave us a very vanilla stadium and has done little to improve it.

If you are a prospective owner as say Josh Harris ... you have to pay at least $4.5 billion, build a new stadium and training facility. My point $7 billion and I need to build a stadium and new training facility? That's a lot of freaking money.

It seems if you take a close look at people buying teams these days they likely are a conglomerate that owns several teams. Remember, those other teams are seen as equity when you go to borrow a shit ton of money.

Bezos is the loan guy that can just write that check but why would he let Dan take advantage of him?

Usually the winner bids in the last 12 hrs .. Denver WALTONS. Washington (Snyder) and other teams that been sold someone comes in the last min and bids and wins . Last 12 hrs is a figure of speech

I’ve been saying this was Dans strategy all along. It makes no sense for him to sell. There is no place that Dan could take$6b and invest it and make the same returns as he does by owning a money machine, which is what an nfl franchise is.

I am not sure we have another choice to be honest? If it is about money, which I would assume it is with Snyder, Bezos is the only answer.

This was always my concern. Snyder wants the money period.
Why does everyone think Bezos is going to submit a bid? Has he ever said publicly he is interested? Everyone locked in on him, yet he has shown zero interest near as I can tell.

I still think the league (owners) are going to force him to sell .... at some point.

Because he is rich and apparently wants to own a team. Other than that...I got nothing.

From this point forward I'm going to take any article claiming Dan might keep the Skins as a planted leak from the Snyder camp to apply pressure to the bidders.

I was just starting to warm up to the idea of Harris who owns multiple professional clubs and has let his GM Daryl Morey run the 76ers.

Anyways, here comes Bezos. Bezos could be a game changer.
