Finlay just said on 106 that this is not a solid report but he believes it. I like Harris a lot. He is a hands off owner and his teams win. (76ers, Devils) He let Morey who is one of the best GMs in basketball run the team.

He understands that the worst place to be as a team is .500. Not good or bad enough to be great. He was the "trust the process" owner that tanked and now the 76ers are contenders.

He's not a celebrity and has experience. I'd be cool with him.

Bezos gives us a clear upper hand when it comes to finances. We'd have the best facilities, best stadium and there is zero chance Snyder hangs on as a minority owner to work under Bezos.

My concern is Jay might try to meddle and flood the roster with Roc Nation athletes.
Seems like we are down to these 2? Would you agree?

Pros and cons to both. I see less cons with Harris though.
Bezos and Jay Z have the resources to get us back I feel. We would have a top stadium and facilities no doubt. The deal simply needs to go down at this point and I am hoping Snyder doesn't have a change of mind.

A big part of me wants Bezos. I think we'd be a free agent destination. You'd have to think these players and agents would love to have Bezos as a friend. How many people in this world can walk up a flight of stairs and have a sit down with the 4th richest person on the planet? Bezos could be a game changer.

Not sure if it's down to those two or not. You never know. I'm good with either one.

Jay Z means little ... Bezos has the super deep pockets could build a stadium.

Rick Snider calls nonsense on the report. Says Bezos selling the Post would have nothing to do with whether he gets the team or not. We'll see.

Jeff Bezos is selling the Washington Post to buy an NFL team. WaPo has lost 500,000 subscribers in the past two years.

Could well be BS ... it isn't like Bezos would be intimidated by Snyder. He would be chump change to Bezos.

It coild well not be bs too. What difference does it make to bezos to sell or not sell wapo?

It might allow snyder to “save face” too.

Selling the Washington Post may have nothing to do with Dan.

How do the sports writers at the Post even cover the Skins when their boss owns the Skins and the paper they write for?

Does the NFL want that?

I am almost to the point that I don't care who buys the team as long as Snyder sells.

I look forward to the day when the organization is NOT in the news for the wrong reasons. Over the past two years, we heard something almost every other month I swear.

I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I honestly believe that Snyder has done some things much worse than what has been reported. I think he buries his tracks better than we think. I am sure he knows how to sidestep the landmines as well. I am sure your brother has personal stories and has heard stuff that is almost unbelievable. I am sure an expose will be written 5-10 years after Snyder is dead about his dealings with the team.

I think he is selling Wapo because they have lost subscribers. 500,000 in 2 yrs . How they cover the team with him as owner won’t matter

In legacy businesses like newspaper and media, these things are cyclical.

I think print is being pushed out by tech too to a degree, but I also think that the lack of an attention grabbing spotlight lover like Trump making many waves in the news is also affecting subscriptions.

Print is a shrinking business since the internet became mainstream.
