Yeah, Rick Snider said the other day that Bezos might not want to bid against himself.

I don't know much about Harris. I am not sure if he was in on the new Devils arena. I was in it a few years ago and they did a nice job. It is kind of or was then built in old inner city Newark so sort of like SE Washington DC. 76ers and Devils are doing fairly well.

Interesting bit about Harris being a 5% owner of the Steelers.

Also he was in on the bid for Bronco's but did not want to go over $5 billion so he pulled his bid.

Bezos is paying a billion a year for Amazon broadcasting Thursday games. He can afford the team but he might prefer to want to broadcast games instead of own a team.

Local radio sports talk state WTEM 980 (TEAM 980) had some great information today. I didn't hear the guys name but he had a lot of infomation about who could be in the running, timeline etc. etc. If you want to listen it was primarily between 4:00 add 5:00.

Of the reasons Dan will likely sell, he is cash poor. There is zero chance he can build a stadium.

They talked about Snyder adding a minority owner but said it was unlikely and who would want to be associated with Snyder at this point.

Talk about Harris is premature. He could be the guy but Bezos or someone else can still step in.

Harris and Bezos (due to Amazon contract) have already been vetted so that could assume control sooner than any other potential owners.

They talked about the sale of the Bronco's and how the former ownership made the deal with Wilson just before the sale of the team. They could sign Payne and just let the new owner deal with the cost when he assumes control.

Because of the cap the new owner just assumes the in place cap, good or bad.

The league wants Dan gone but they don't want to piss him off. Who knows what he might do. As mentioned part of Dan's problem is cash flow. He has a lot of assets but also a lot of debt. He would need a minority partner to help ease his cash flow problems.

Buying the team and building a stadium is going to cost a LOT of money.

Sheehan's source says Dan waffles back and forth everyday on whether to sell or keep the team, but he's resigned to the fact that's he's gonna have to sell.

This is why I want Bezos to bid.

Dan has said several times he won't do something like change the team name.
If all offers are hovering around 6 billion and Bezos bids 7 billion....of course Snyder will say yes. Snyder loves money more than anything else and I think Bezos has the cash to make Dan forget about this team.

This could mean something or could be pure speculation

I think this is legit actually. I want more solid sources to confirm it though. Finlay makes me think it could have legs. I would like Keim to speak on it.

Finlay just said on 106 that this is not a solid report but he believes it. I like Harris a lot. He is a hands off owner and his teams win. (76ers, Devils) He let Morey who is one of the best GMs in basketball run the team.

He understands that the worst place to be as a team is .500. Not good or bad enough to be great. He was the "trust the process" owner that tanked and now the 76ers are contenders.

He's not a celebrity and has experience. I'd be cool with him.

Bezos gives us a clear upper hand when it comes to finances. We'd have the best facilities, best stadium and there is zero chance Snyder hangs on as a minority owner to work under Bezos.

My concern is Jay might try to meddle and flood the roster with Roc Nation athletes.
