Nice stuff you got there Moe. I'm just in the beginning stages of gun buying, couldn't have picked a better time either. :tsk:
That sucks, Man. Ammo is getting a little easier to come by... not much but a little. But I'm still hearing about long waiting lists to get particular guns.

I used to have this great Kimber CDP II, but sold it back in early January because I got an insane offer I couldn't refuse.... money went in to the kids' college funds. But the Wife agreed I can go get one of those M&P Shield 9/40s I posted about earlier. Unfortunately the wait list is September or later!

A couple pics from last week at the range. Was working on transitioning from rifle to handgun while moving with multiple targets. Lots of rounds and lots of fun.

I heard some bad reviews on the shield. Something about jam issues.
Really? I've talked with several owners who all rave about them. Now the S&W Bodyguards, I have heard mostly negative stuff about.

I see your also a glock fan Moe.

Excellent guns.
Big time. Wish they made a model with a slimmer frame though.... thats really the only reason I'm so interested in that Shield. Although I have shot other models in the M&P line and really liked them.

I may be wrong but I do recall something about the ejection port. The body guards are junk.

I have one. I should sell it but for some reason I never sell guns

I know what you mean. First gun I've ever sold was my favorite one.... Kimber CDP II. A friend (who has way too much money) offered me a ridiculous price.... kind of regret it. But not too much.

Supposedly rare Glock 21 with picatinny rail and ambi-mag release. I bought this on my 21st birthday as my 1st firearm of any kind and will keep it until I die or someone gives me a ridiculous amount of money for it.

Some people had problems with the ambi-mag release and glock recalled them and changed it's design....that is why it is supposedly rare. I have never had a problem at all with mine in any way, shape, or form....and will most likely keep it as-is as long it doesn't. I learned how to shoot with this gun, have plenty of memories associated with this gun, and no gun will ever take the "1st gun" place in your heart...especially if the first one was with your own money. Like I said....someone would have to offer me some ridiculous sum to even get it from me when I am 80 (and I am 25 now).

Now I'm jonesing for a .45 in my collection again. I love this line of weapons. Balance and ergonomics is great. It'll have to be this or the Shield next.

I bet that S&W .357 is a lot of fun to shoot. What caliber is your rifle?

the S&W is a gas. I have a box of hollow points and set up a plastic gallon of water at about 40 yds. Talk about complete vaporation!@!

The rifle is 30.06. Dropped quite a few trophies with that bad boy.

Nice! I have never shot a .357 Magnum. .357 Sigs are pretty zippy though.

The only 30.06 I've ever fired was a buddy's M1 Garand.... that fucker left me with a sore shoulder, but good gracious it was fun to shoot.

What do you usually hunt?

Only big game I have ever hunted with the rifle, (and the bow) is Whitetails. My son and I have been pretty fortunate the last 6 years to be able to hunt Buffalo County which is the #1 P&Y county in the country

Got to put about 50 rounds through an M&P Shield 40 and 9 and an M&P 45 last Friday. I want the 45 and Shield 40 bad. Good stuff!

Not going to post pics but I will say that in the house there is a gun within reach at all times. No matter what room I'm in. My carry is a Kel-Tec PF9. Nice and compact. Easy as hell to conceal.
