my first car was a 62/impala....4-door/light blue/BIG-steering-wheel,....I bought it for $100 off the original owner, it wasn't babied or anything = just a great car for a 15-yr. old kid to drive around town ''illegally'' back in the late-70's...!

A 1974 Chevy Monte Carlo.

Ugly car. Bench seats. AM radio. But it had a 350, V8 engine in it. But I promptly dropped the engine in it by flooring it on the interstate. And I sold it to a high school teacher that had to money to restore it. The last time I saw it, it was in MINT condition. :sadbron:


Sa'll good. I couldn't afford the gas anyway.

Mine looked a little better than this one, but not much...'76 Nova with a "heavy duty" rear suspension that constantly broke. I had a buddy in Dallas with the same car, except he had a roaring 350 and I had a crawling 250. My car ran a lot more often than his, though...
