As a Packers fan, I had no idea what to expect from this season. While 17-0 is not going to happen, I didn't know for sure 0-17 didn't. Mostly because I watched the Packers in the 80's when the Bears owned them, yes that was a thing, to losing regularly to the orange creamsicle uniformed Buccaneers.

Let's just call this the relief thread.

Love looked really solid.....much to the dismay of most NFC North fans.

Fields on the other hand looks like a guy who will replaced at years end. Anyone who knows the Bears history at QB was kind of expecting that.

...and that was without Christian Watson and with Doubs reportedly on a minutes restriction.

I like Howell, could be interesting (and some growing pains).

My Falcons won their opener for the first time since 2017! Like I posted yesterday, I feel better about them this year than the past couple of years.

Trending in the right direction, but the passing game is still a mystery. Ridder had more catches than Drake London lol.

As a fan of one of a few teams that have gone winless in a season, and especially one who had not won a home opener since 2004, I am happy to report that the Browns qualify for this thread.

I'm beginning to wonder if the Bears will ever have an actual QB. They draft guys high in the draft and then seem to do the exact opposite of what it takes to make them successful. When was the last time the Bears had an offensive coordinator that got real buzz from other teams as a "hot" coach? How about a QB coach that other teams were trying to hire as OC? Hell, I watched Trubisky lead them to the playoffs, double doink happened and then the next year he suddenly forgot how to play because the team decided that the only thing they needed to fix was the kicker because of the double doink? I don't believe Trubisky was all that, but they had something going and then just went brain dead in moving forward to improve. That's dysfunctional shit that organization does on the regular.

I'm not saying Fields is good, but that Oline is pathetic, it really is. The offense seems to do the opposite of what you think it should be doing to set itself up for success, not just Fields but the entire unit, and from what I saw on Sunday it seems like they find something that works and then do the opposite. That is the most dysfunctional team and unit I've seen year after year in a long time. Since the 80's Packers actually...just no idea what they are...no identity...no clue what they are, if they don't know, how the hell does anybody? So just throwing shit against the wall and hoping something sticks. WTF??? Seriously, just year after year of WTF??? No plan..just hope and I know that hope is not a plan...it's just hope
