Comparing a small meaningless message board is inferior to fan attendance, merchandise sold, total # fans, and fan attendance during poor seasons. You're most likely degrading your own fan base even more so since there were no Hawks fans on these boards 2 years ago.

Many of us were from the espn board going back 5 years plus.

Well, you guys were barely here all year. Now there's a bunch of you. I said they were on their own board, but if you want to call it front-running more power to ya.

I've been posting on the main boards since my inception to this site. The only reason I wasn't here earlier is because, shamely I may add, I was on the cBS boards.

not sure what point you are trying to make here

You weren't on these boards two years ago either.

The truth is that fans stick to their boards until they are relevant. Seahawk fans are guilty of it, and so are you. The Seahawks board was always one of the most active boards on ESPN for years and years, then when they became a main subject on the gen board, they started coming over here. Just like you guys are doing right now.

I can agree with this as ESPN became a FB garbage and gave up on the message boards. Do you know why the canceled the message boards?

I was thinking about that earlier how come when teams become "Relevant" only then are fan's allowed to speak with some form of authority on the subject of football? seem's stupid to me go look at many over on the cowboy's board that post great stuff and a few other fans of teams,i dont care about a teams record and i find every opinion viable.

Dude you know nothing about the Hawks then if you think just the Holmgren era started selling out games and RW is not a Packer never has been,i will grant one thing John Schnieder whom we hired from GB but really there is no players from the Pack on Seattles roster, now the Vike's and us have been swapping players for years.

I am not a season ticket holder by the way.

Darn, I was going to quiz you on the massive lottery winner who goes to all the Sonics and Hawks games( I believe) and the fan who is always slapping the wall at the end zone. Do you have a reference to their history of selling out games? I never said they did not sell out before but I am assuming this is the most successful they have been in selling out games and winning since the Holmgren era started. I never said RW was a Packer. I stated he was a Badger and is one of the reasons I cheer for the Hawks if they're not facing GB.

I know where you are going and it makes you look stupid since you are implying many 12th man here are fairweather fans or whatever, fact is that Seattle has a long very devote fanbase through good and bad years,i know that you may not believe that but remember there is no other teams within hundreds of miles of Seattle only SanFran, think about that and how BIG western states are.

Seahawk fans should not compare their fan base to the best fan base in the world.

Cheesehead Nation is second to none.

I dunno the tone you use seems rather passive aggressive for whatever reason myself as a native here can tell you many things like how it was the Nordstrom family that really brought the NFL here etc but this is not the place to go into that and tbh i honest i dont know much about GB's history so,who cares.

I know, I wasn't calling you out. I've seen you post here quite a bit.

I was just proving a point to those that were saying that the Seahawks didn't have fans until recently. The truth is that they didn't interact with them much because they were on their own boards until they were relevant, just like many of these Packer fans here now. If you judged the Cowboys off of their board presence they would seem pretty small, though if you look at their board there is obviously shit ton of them.

and they were like a magic act and vanished from the boards for a 2-3 year period. Thanks again to Matty Ice and RW your team became relevant.

Forgot to add, why does your team insist on picking up WR's from the Vikes when history has proved that never works?

Spend a lot of time on the Seahawks board?

You Packer fans are guilty of the same thing. When you're team is doing well, you want to come here and talk about them to everyone. When they're not, you sit on your own board and bitch about them.

Last year we were saying how good the Hawks were 90% of other teams just laughed at us,it wasn't like we were boasting BS we were just saying "Hey check this out these guys are for real" goes to show how little these so called armchair coaches evaluate talent or teams because look at things now,we were right.
