Well, that's to bad.
I wish him all the luck in prison.
He might be lucky to end up there. As opposed to being shot to death over a drug deal gone bad.
It happens.

is wrong with people.
yeah, maybe he's all innocent but something tells me he's all fucked up after a big night of partying and just couldn't help running his mouth at some place to eat.
Hope I'm all wrong about that.
Sounds to me like he beat the fuck outta some guy, but I didn't read the article. Duno if he was drinking or not, the cops prob woulda arrested him on the spot for pub intox. We'll see how it plays out.
He hit a girl.
The girl keeps saying she's afraid of the fans. I hope the OU fans show class and give her some compassion. Getting clocked by a stud 5* athlete in elite physical condition has got to be damn bad for a 20 year old girl. Everyone loses something in this story.
But seriously, wtf is going on with these athletes lately? They think they are above the law and are god's gifts. Actually, I can tell you why they are this way; I blame it on ESPN. They no longer just sign a scholarship anymore, it has to be blown out of proportion by ESPN. These spoiled athletes have about 3-4 hats in front of them and make a spectacle about what school they are going to play at. This is where it starts, IMO......
GMAFB, Mixon will miss the 1st quarter against LA TECH High school and that's about it. Stoops just welcomed a known drug dealer and woman beater with open arms. Mixon will be fine....
Not if he actually clocked her. This happened when the kid was on an OU scholarship. People thought he'd let Rhett Bomar slide over some extra cash earned for nothing. Bomar was a 5* QB and it was right before the season started. Stoops can be a real hard ass when he feels the program has been embarrassed. There won't be a second chance if this goes the way it looks like it's going.
I used to think that, which is why I was surprised he welcomed DGB to his program.....
Only winner would be Keith Ford.

I applaud Charlie for ridding the team of 2 big WR's when allegations came out of what they did to a young girl. Some things are bigger than a football game. Stoops needs to do the right thing here too. Dude flat out punched a young girl in the face and gave her broken bones. Here in OK, that's what is called Aggravated Assault and Battery with Great Bodily Injury. It's a felony.
You don't fuckin know what happened any more than any of us. Sit back with the rest of us and wait for the facts with the rest of us. You're so fucking giddy at the thought of Oklahoma losing his talent you've already decided he's guilty and know exactly what happened.
1) I applied the exact same reasoning to my own players. Check the thread. 2 of our kids are "accused" of assaulting a woman. I don't know "for sure" what happened - but I have said all over, get rid of them.
2) You're assertion that I'm "so giddy" because he is a big recruit for you is ridiculously lame... Due to what I said above. Did you miss the part where I said, "some things are bigger than a football game."???
3) What we do know is that a young girl apparently was punched in the face. That young girl apparently has broken bones. The police did not rush to an arrest decision. Instead the decided to wait. To talk to witnesses and to view the video. After viewing the video they are looking for him to arrest him. Doesn't really take a genius to figure the rest out. And yes, I am entitled to give an opinion (on a message board designed for people to give opinions) based on those facts. Again, re: I did the same with my own team.
I hate OU, yes. But I respect them as our rival. This has absolutely nothing to do with that though. You lay your hands on a young girl breaking bones in her face - I don't want you anywhere near my football team. I would venture to guess most of your own OU brethren would agree with me. You wanna disagree, fine, go on that island. There's bad apples everywhere.
1) Handing down a verdict because of an accusation without knowing the facts is retarded, regardless of what team's players you're talking about. The fact that you're saying boot players from your own team without knowing the facts makes your line of thinking even more retarded
2) If he's guilty, absolutely but we don't know his involvement.
3) Norman police has not stated they are looking to arrest him. That was another news source who is in no way affiliated with Norman PD. Mixon's attorney has said they are not running and are cooperating with the police. No warrant has been issued. You don't know if he was the one who actually committed the assault or if he was just there with the person who did. Neither are good things, but one is obviously more damnable than the other.
So like I said, sit back with the rest of us and let the facts come out instead of fabricating the full story while knowing about 30% of the story.
