Russian kid back to Albany. It's the right move. Better for him to be playing than being a healthy scratch.

ted? means he had his shot and blew it. if it was his fault or not still he has been given many chances here

you can compare him to gionta and how he got a late start. but i dont think the devils will be waiting another 8 years for him to show his potential.

Fellas, Fellas why all the concern? This is a GOOD thing. IMO we never should have let Poni walk in the first place he was dynamite for us last year. You can never be too deep in the NHL right? So here's what I'm thinking our lines should be tomorrow night vs Philly:


Kovy-Zajac-Poni
Elias-Truth-Clarkson
Bernier-Carter-Gionta
Butler-Josefson-Matteau


After Zubrus comes back:

Kovy-Zajac-Clarkson (How do you stop THAT line?)
Elias-Truth-Zubrus
Bernier-Carter-Gionta
Butler/Matteau-JJ-Poni/Matteau

While I'm glad we got Poni back, I don't see him as a top line guy, would switch him and Butler or Matteau in your lines.

Zubrus out 4-6 is the official word. That could get him in the lineup by the end of March so he can get some playing time in before the playoffs, which start very late this year.

That was a slick goal by Poni. Right where he left off. He's not as good a skater as Zubrus, but he definitely has the better shot.

I like the trade and I personally think he has more skill than Zubrus. But they are the same type of player. He fits in here and knows the system.

I am curious though, just how much have we given up the past two years to acquire him?
