Cutting taxes can easily be viewed as doing the right thing. Every person gets to keep more of what they earn, regardless of race. Now, this is the part of the claims of racism I can’t stand...if a good and moral policy hurts blacks, it is a racist policy? But if that same policy were to help blacks, then that policy would be seen as what it is?

States rights are fantastic because the state knows better about its constituents needs and cares than the fed, just like the local government know more about its own.


As for Atwater’s comments, I don’t see any great issue with what he said. There are still racists in the south today, and in the north. The only person I know of saying anything about N**** is LBJ, and he was right about the black vote. Blacks started to vote for democrats during the Great Depression and FDR’s socialist policies. It fully solidified once LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act.

Dude.... shows arent paid based off how many hot takes they make they are paid via advertising dollars.

She was an utter failure. Ratings were literally restored almost immediately after she was fired.

So while she spoke about a 31 year old qb who was 3-13 over last 16 starts and was benched in favor of Blaine Gabbert over and over and over and over again her ratings suffered. Totally different topic but she tried to make a sports show political.
