So now you've just defined socialism as taking money from the public and giving it to already rich people. Every city that wants a team competes with all the other cities. Competition, not socialism. The winning cities have teams. The losing cities don't. Ask St.Louis and Oakland about the details.

Clearly you have no idea what socialism is. The argument has been put forth by @gkekoa and @dad who both wondered why money has to be taken from them to give to others. Argue with them about that!

There never was a debate here, just a bunch of folks regurgitating talking points, most of which were pure BS. Rather than going through a entire list of things, I'll just give this one example since it is you who's asking. The MSM (main stream media) has been proven in fact to be owned and operated by conservatives, yet there are folks here who continually using an old, tired talking points about "liberal" media as if that were true. Well, the fact say otherwise. Unless and until some here are able to separate themselves from the game being played on them then debate is futile.

BTW: On a general note, aimed at no one specifically, I was raised to note that, arguing with a fool, makes me one as well. So until there's true, honest, less biased debate, I suppose that this nonsense will continue. I'll not participate from here out to the degree that I have previously, lest, I become the fool too!

Sorry but I have stated numerous times, I am not a fan of paying for their stadiums.

That being said, I would love to see if the numbers did pay for them being there.

Also, people are free to leave the state that taxes them for building stadiums. There is a similar reason people and businesses are leaving the likes of NY and California. I just wish they would their ideologies in those states.

And most of the time, these stadiums are put up for referendum so you can actually vote on if you want to be taxed on it or not. That ain't socialism.

Sty, what facts are you speaking of? I'd like to see them. This is how a debate should go. If you aren't happy with the talking points (I know I'm not), refute them with facts.

Going personal only says something about you and the weak assed position that you are trying to defend. I'm not going there with you since clearly you have nothing else to offer. There's no such thing as a "socialist regime." WOW, this is in part...part of the game that's being played on people as I mentioned a bit earlier.

For the record I consider myself a fiscal conservative and a social liberal. I don't affiliate with any political party because most of it is BULLSHIT.
