I'm through defending him. This loss was all on Dalton.

I don't think it was ALL on Dalton but he gets the majority. I think some of it is on the O-line and Gruden. Both were terrible as well.

I'll give him another year. He played his worst game on the biggest stage...but he is not as bad as he played tonight. To the Texans credit, theri D won most matchups consistently. But there were huge plays that Dalton left on the field.

Dalton gets 1 more year from me to show me something. But I'd still draft a mid round guy to sit and watch a year just in case Dalton is terrible next year.

When the rush gets a little close he freezes mentally, consistently. You have to be able to make a quick decision and get rid of the ball under pressure. He's a complete failure there.

He has been so far. I'm not sure if that is something he will be able to fix over the offseason.

agreed. he's struggling mentally which was supposed to be his biggest attribute. He better find his swag. If you think as a QB you are done.

We need to get a backup that has some potential, Gradkowski does not. We also are going to have to fix the few holes in the D and the O-line. The team around Dalton has to be great. We need 2 LB'ers, a S and a CB. Also need a C and maybe an OT.

That's why I can't completely give up on Dalton. I think he gets better with a good O-line to protect him. The problem with Dalton is I think he needs the perfect situation to succeed. Good O-line, good recievers. He's not going to make anyone around him better, and that is what you need from a franchise QB.
