I will say i saw a number of players saying get away.
I would love someone to tell the real story of what it's like working for the Jones Boyz. Hasn't happened since Pearlman's book "Boys will be Boys"I heard it wasn't a sure thing Mac wants this job.
maybe Mac will come out with a tell all book in a couple of years
Honestly....Coming off three 12 win seasons and having Dak nearly win MVP, I think most teams around the league would give him a pass for this season and see injuries and Jerry as the primary reasons the team is losing. And his team hasn't quit on him. Leaving for a team like say, Jacksonville, who has a talented young QB in need of some guidance might be a great call. I think the chances are likely the Cowboys will purge again(even though they can create $80M in cap space AFTER signing Micah) and not spend in FA and be an injury or two away from a losing season next year as wellI heard it wasn't a sure thing Mac wants this job.

no problemI won’t waste a second reading it.
I honestly don't care. I think the bigger story remains Jerry cuts the legs off his coach. Don't matter, this is the Jerry Jones show, Jimmy told us this much in the late 90's. Nothing has changed.Honestly....Coming off three 12 win seasons and having Dak nearly win MVP, I think most teams around the league would give him a pass for this season and see injuries and Jerry as the primary reasons the team is losing. I feel you in with cliff notes

I like McCarthy and I think he's a better coach than given credit for being. I would love for him to decline the job if offered.
He looks like a Mississippi bullfrog sitting on a hot stump.
shoot, Tell All?If it was Parcelli or Jimmy J, I’d consider reading it. But I have no desire to read anything that Mike McCarthy has put together.
The saddest part of the Jerry curse is the thing he has always craved but never had was league wide respect. If he had simply gotten out of Jimmy's way, he could have kept his GM title and won a couple of more Super Bowls in the 90's. If he had gotten out of Parcell's way, he likely wins 1-2 more. And now, if he gave McClay 100% power, he might have another. Combine that with the money he has helped the league make, and he would be on the short list of greatest owners ever instead of the butt of nationwide jokesI honestly don't care. I think you are missing the point. It is more the description of what the cowboys and Jerry in particular are like behind closed doors and the HC is a great one to tell it regardless of who it is. Heck, I’d read a tell all about Jerry and his antics if the backup long snapper wrote itIf it was Parcelli or Jimmy J, I’d consider reading it. Wilson is in Zim. He loves him. I think he has figured out how to better use him nowYep, you got Jerry meddling and it was costly this year. Case in point is Jerry thinking Zeke can still play.
Anybody with eye balls could see Zeke was washed even 2 or 3 years ago
Everybody but Jerry knew Dowdle was the best back on the roster. Jerry obviously told McCarthy to play Zeke.
I also think Jerry told Zimmer to play Wilson over guys like Bell and Thomas.
Zimmer done a good job considering all the injuries. Good enough to beat the Bengals.Wilson is in Zim. He loves him. I think he has figured out how to better use him now
the one thing about Zimmer. He will get more out of less on defense.Zimmer done a good job considering all the injuries. Good enough to beat the Bengals.
The Offensive play caller not so much. The Cowboys were running the ball very well. There was no reason for Rush to throw the ball 35 times in a close game. This is the problem I have with McCarthy as a play caller. He calling plays like he has Arod under center.
If they bring McCarthy back they need a hire a legit OC and install a new offense. I trust Zimmer with the defense
Bones Fassel needs to go regardless.
