If the Niners can hang on to the number two spot and get a first-round bye followed by a second-round home game they could make trouble in the playoffs for somebody.

As it is, the 49ers only have to beat the Seahawks again and the Cardinals once to clinch the division.

I don't know. They'd be playing a beat up team coming off of a tough playoff game and having to travel out West while the 49ers had two weeks to prepare and get healthy. I have a feeling it will be the Giants again. So you are right, that will be scary.
