I hate to switch up the rules mid-challenge but I think I have to do it.
Even though this can hurt puck and myself the most, I am going to add a +1 to every game in the second round, a +2 to every game in the conference finals and a +4 to every game in the SCF.

Any problems or other ideas?

Good call. There are fewer teams in each round, so there would be fewer points to go around in each successive round, even though later rounds are more important. This is a good way to appropriately weight the value of the games and keep the rounds more even.
