That wasn't a flop, West didn't shove him but LBJ didn't fall under the chairs because he was flopping. 270 pounds moving doesn't just stop.

There was another though against West when he was running along the line by the benches and fell out when he got close to West and West never touched him. I think it was West's 3rd.

Not sure how to post a Vine video but here's the link if someone will. It shows West made contact.

There's no doubt LeBron flops, in the commonly accepted sense of the word.

The league has been consistent and transparent in assessing flop fines. They have reserved the fines for egregious flops only, which IMO is the right way to do it.

Before 2013, LeBron had several egregious flops. Since then (with the fine rule now in place), IMO, he hasn't. This is backed up by the lack of any fines for LeBron .

Everytime someone gets fined, people want to talk about every non-egregious flop involving LeBron. Non-egregious flops happen several times every NBA game. The egregious ones (like Lance's) are actually pretty few and far between.

Hockey - LBJ Flops a lot! you have to admit that! Every NBA player does!

As long as people admit this and not just say this I completely agree.

I've been saying this for months. People flop to sell calls so every NBA player does flop but some are just better at it than others

I agree with ya but I think KD's in the last round was just as bad as Stephenson's and don't think there was even a warning assessed.

I see what you're saying, but the important distinction IMO is the presence of actual contact. Obviously KD dramatically embellished the contact, but there's no denying that Jordan and KD did, in fact, collide and with plenty of contact.

In the case of Lance and others that have been fined, there was somewhere between very little contact and no contact.

It gets dangerous if you start interpreting flopping on actual collisions, but these are big guys playing at high speeds and slow-motion doesn't do anything to be able to truly understand what the result of a collision should or shouldn't be.

Not to mention the fact that sometimes reacting/diving from an actual collision is an effective way of avoiding injury or further collision. (not talking about this incident)

The NBA does, and should, stick to fining the flops where players are trying to sell contact that didn't happen... rather than ones where players are trying to sell contact that did happen.

I tried but have no idea what to put the Vine tags around.

Also I didn't mean West never touched him, he hammered him on the way up but the little that his hand touched the back of LBJ had next to 0 affect on LBJ's momentum. What caused LBJ to fly into the stands was done well before that.

yeah.. I can't defend anyone on the Celtics and say they don't flop. They might not make it as obvious as other players but they certainly do flop.

Yeah, every player flops at least a little. Heck, Kobe isn't known as a flopper and he has one of the all-time classic flops. I forget who posted it, but it was a thing of flopping beauty. He slid across the floor and everything!!

I have to say (and not as a criticism) my absolute favorite flops are Lebron's "shot by a sniper" one's. Even Vlade and D-Fish have to be impressed with those.

NOW, I'm NOT talking about the INTIAL foul, I'm talking about what happened after. David West catches him to make sure it's not a flagrant, Lebron's knee hits the ground, and then he clearly dives into the front row. You can see it clear as day on the last frame

Oh and let's not forget about this one as well

Now I'm not reprimanding Lebron on anything, just making my case here, because I mean if you can get the extra points, then by all means

West clearly fouled him on the 2nd one. You cannot show on a pick and shoulder bump/hip check the man with the ball. It's a foul in every nba game. UD/bosh gets called when they do the same thing. It's a foul in the nba today

Did lebron sell that call? Yes but who doesn't sell calls? Clearly obvious west made contact with him

Oh it was definitely an intial foul, but that extra head flip or whatever was a flop, or sell of the call...which I said before is fine by me
