We had injuries as well
Agreed. Just do not see progress with our team from week to week. We are 3-7, and yes, that record reflects our talent but I must say I'm more disappointed in our coaching honestly. Same dumb mistakes, same dumb penalties, poor execution and yesterday, what is suppossed to be our strength on defense was shredded. Rookie was on track for a 400 yard day before getting injured and we showed no signs of slowing him down until the injury.
Playing the Bengals and winning yesterday reminded my of just how bad we really are. Hopefully each game identifies where we need help for next year.

I see improvement . Darby and kurl are doing well . Add sims and better offense we could reach 6 wins

I see increments but do not see much growth. I expected Darby to ball, he is a vet. Kurl is doing very well for a rookie late pick but likely wouldn't be on the field unless injury's had occurred. While i like Cam Sims, long term he is a WR3-4 to spell guys. Tmac needs a legit #2 across from him. Unfortunately AGG hasn't been on the field enough to evolve into that role.

Injuries happen and werent we up 14 to 9 when it happened ?
Nope. The Skins were down 9-7 at the time. It was on the Skins very next drive right after JB was injured when they went up 14-9. After Burrow went down the Bengals didn't do anything. And the Bengals coulda been, some might even say shoulda been up 16-7 when Burrow went down. As their FG kicker missed 2 FGs and 1 XP up to that point.

Agreed and it's extremely disheartening.

Agreed again. I truly thought especially after Del Rio was hired that we'd stop seeing the DB breakdowns and miscommunication and hat the DL would finally start living up to their billing. I thought RR would have the offense playing considerably more mistake free as well. None of that has happened though.

And if we're being honest the Skins were fortunate to only be down by 2 points before Burrow's injury. So yet another game where the Skins are down at halftime and yeah it was only 2 points, but it easily could've been 9 points.

And the only reason I bring up the being down at halftime is because there isn't a single issue from the start of the year. That this coaching staff has solved or even gotten a half-ass handle on. In a few ways this is the worst job of coaching that we've seen in the Snyder era.

If the Cowboys play the Skins like they played the Vikings. And the Skins play like do every fuckin week. The Skins are gonna catch a serious beatdown.

Why isn’t Simms a legit 2?

My thing is the UDRFA can be a legit 3-4 it’s a win and a huge win . Wright is also a huge win

Not the question. People always say they want a legit two. What is that? I think they confuse what they want and reality.

Ted Ginn NO...421 yards
Sammy Watkins KC...673
Cup/Woods LAR...1161/1134
Sanu NE...520 but got a good portion in ATL.

Very few teams throw enough to need a “legit” 2. No team can afford two high paid WRs. Teams like Seattle, who already had Lockett, and hit on Metcalf can have two for now, but won’t when Metcalf comes up for an extension.

Good clarification and point.

If Simms were a legit #2, he would be on another roster by now. He just doesn't run clean routes, cannot create much separation and most catches he makes are only because of his size. He is not a WR that will scare any defense imo. Perhaps there is still growth and contined improvement and I like him on the team, just as a WR3-4. A guy who spells our 1 & 2 with 2-3 catches per game but not a starter.

Why would he be on another roster? People go unnoticed all the time on PS. As for what he does and doesn’t do, you just described Plaxico Burress. I would love to have him on the team.

3 catches per game is 48 receptions on the year. These are some number twos from good teams.

Ted Ginn had 30 in 2019.
Sanu had 50.
Cup/Woods had 90/94.
Bourne, SF, had 30.

Again, your idea of production is way off.

Ted Ginn had 30 in 2019.
Sanu had 50. (Sanu is a legit WR #2 and has proven such)
Cup/Woods had 90/94. (These guys are in a different echelon than Simms)
Bourne, SF, had 30.

Again, your idea of production is way off.
My idea of a #2 is different than yours, so what. Sounds like my idea of a #2 and those expectations for such player differs from you. My idea of a real #2 would match production of Sanu with perhaps 10 more catches. Tmac and his 100+ will remain my #1 WR. Perhaps the 3/4 guys only have 20 recp per year but my focus is on a real #2, Simms isn't and never will be that for us.

Which again is a serious issue considering the head coach thinks he has a grasp on his team. We are one beat down away from total chaos and RR deflecting questions and looking into the camera stating, "you guys just don't get it, do you"? No Ron, we really don't get WTF you are trying to accomplish because your words don't reflect whats happening every game.

Your idea of a number two is a fantasy, unless there are like five number twos in the league. I showed you the number twos production on those teams. 520 yards and 59 catches is Sanu. So your number two would have lime 620 yards and 69 catches. The following is every team with their two listed In 2019. Let’s see how many reach your idea of a legit two.

NO- Ginn 30 for 420
TB- Evans 67/1157
CAR- Samuel 54/627
ATL- Ridley 63/866

Wash- Sims 34/310
Dal- Gallup 66/1107
NYG- Tate 49/676
PHI- Jeffery 43/490...this is their one...their top three were 2 TEs and a RB

Rams- Woods 90/1134
ARI- Kirk 68/709
SEA- Metcalf 58/900
SF- Samuel 57/802

DET- Jones 62/779
MINN- Johnson 31/294
GB- Lazard 35/477
CHI- Miller 52/656

KC- Watkins 52/673
DEN- Hamilton 28/297
LV- Williams 42/651
CHARG- Williams 49/1001

PItT- Washington 44/735
Balt- Snead 31/339
CLE- Beckham 74/1035
CIn- Erickson 43/529

NYJ- Anderson 52/779
NE- Sanu 59/520
BUf- Beasley 67/778
MIa- Williams 32/428

HOu- Fuller 49/670
InD- Pascal 41/607
JAX- Westbrook 66/660
TEN- Davis 43/601

Apparently there are only 2 legit #2s in all of football last year. Maybe you didn’t know but only 22 WRs in all of football had 69 catches or more.

Only 9 number 2s got to 60 receptions. Only 14 got to 50.

5 got to 1000 yards. 8 got to 800. 13 got to 700. 22 got to 600.

Cam Simms since he started, 3 games, 9 receptions, 184 yards...15 games would be 48 for 981 yards. Not saying we can extrapolate perfectly, but I think he deserves more respect on a possibility than you are giving him.

Your POV seems legit to me . I do know this . We have 3 young guys , Sims ,AGG and the forgotten Harmon who all can make at least a run at the # 2
