I get your “Hall of Impact” argument. But KJ was, in fact, the Suns second-best player behind Barkley. To put Draymond in (GS 4th-best player for much of their run) over him is cringeworthy.

No, it isn’t.

Because Draymond is many times more famous than KJ.

Not even close.

The most casual fans know who Draymond is. And will continue to know him after he retires.

KJ is a trivia answer for die hard NBA fans at this point. Not HOF worthy.

I'm honestly with @HurricaneDij39 on this one. KJ only had 3 all star appearances but he was all-nba 5 times in 12 years. He had that injury right at 30 that caused him to retire for a season.

He's every bit deserving of consideration as a guy like Marques Johnson who's been on the fringe.

One guy I hope eventually gets the nod is Dwight Howard. People seem to forget how dominant of a player he was.
Howard is a lock. I’m more or less looking for old school guys who probably deserve more recognition. And yes, KJ actually had a series of injuries before he turned 30. My argument was that most tend to overlook his performance on that team before Barkley arrived.

HOF also includes collegiate and international accomplishments.

Green went to 2 final fours in college and was an accomplished collegiate athlete. On top of that he's won 2 gold medals with Team USA.

He's a lock for the HOF.

*For his lip service more than his play. Sorry @CitySushi for beating this dead horse.

I mean yeah, that is certainly part of the equation though.

Rodman is another example. He was a very good and impactful player, but he doesn’t make the HOF without the championships and the super colorful personality.

I don’t personally think Rodman was a better basketball player than Kevin Johnson.

But absolutely more deserving of the Hall.

I'd argue that Rodman got it because he was dominant in one category (rebounding), but to each their own.

Part of his story for sure.

But had he led the league in rebounds 7 times while playing for the Sacramento Kings and staying in line with his persona from the bad boy Pistons (before the wild hair dos and tats)…

He would not be in the Hall of Fame.m

He would be Andre Drummond.

On the rings thing, Mark Aguirre being traded and becoming a two time Champion, killed his HOF career.

Dropped double digits in points and like 8 minutes a game, in order to win.

And that's why there needs to be limits on Draymond Green's candidacy. Rings plus so-so play should not be enough to get it done.

Rodman has five rings and was a dominant rebounder...

Didn't he cause trouble in Dallas?

Draymond has 4 rings.

He is a DPOY.

And a MUCH better offensive player than Rodman.

Along with a lot more off the court contributions, NCAA and Team USA.

You clearly don’t get it.

The same guy who couldn't get on the court for 2016 Olympic team (also coicidentally) the same year his NBA team won 73?

System player. He's the absolute definition of someone who'd be a complete nobody if he was drafted by Sacramento...

Yeah, that is what I have been saying all along.

And that is why Randy Smith isn’t a Hall of Famer.

How can you profess to be some kind of basketball expert and make a statement like this.

Draymond is a much more rounded player than Rodman.

In the Bulls final title year Rodman shot 43 percent shooting nothing but 6 feet and in. That's horrible.

Dwight is a slam dunk HOF....1st ballot too imo
