With the eventual return of Gilmore and Rowe and Bad Ass Badamosi playing well, what are the chances of the Patriots trading Butler before the deadline? I doubt he returns to the Patriots next year. Does Coach B just let him walk or does he maybe try trading him for another player?

Hightower will be placed on IR today. He's done for 2017. He may done forever. He tore the same pec that was surgically repaired in March of 2017. Tearing a muscle twice will generally require some specialized surgery for the second tear and you'd think that muscle would be pretty much useless for a contact sport like football where it continuously gets stretched and twisted when it's extended. Add to that the force of a 225 running back hitting it at full speed. Not good.

He had pec torn 55% when we signed him. We were hoping he'd make it through the season.....

They showed him sitting on the sideline and his arm from shoulder to elbow was blazen red. When they tried to pick his arm up level to his shoulder with his elbow bent, he screeched in pain. They took him down to the locker room immediately. I thought he had a broken upper arm.

The Chargers were playing very nasty today and got away with a dump truck load of shit.

Even Dan Fouts was calling stuff on his old team from the booth.

Doesn't matter........Pats win 21-13.

It was clean, but today's rules are that no tackle can be lead by the crown or top of the helmet. It's for player safety. Guys like Pullard have always used their heads as battering rams and then no one can understand why they die at 52 years old from "natural" causes. Well, today we know it's a physical problem called CTE.

After the hit, Pullard was done for the day because he one eye going to Walmart and the other one heading for the Mall.
