No worries. Crosby's embarrassed himself plenty throughout these playoffs.Henrik embarrasses Crosby with the water bottle, not sure this a great idea

I didn't watch the game last night, but I'm hearing Sidney Crosby was pulling douche moves left and right.
All I can say is that I'm cheering for the Penguins because if the Bruins do get by the Habs, I'd rather have Boston shooters facing MAF than King Henrik.
Narrative narrative narrative...narrative narrative desire narrative buzzwords narrative. Heart narrative narrative. Passion and grit? Narrative narrative. Discipline narrative narrative.
You forgot....
No wait. I think you got them all.
Probably should've thrown undisciplined in there too. But basically think I covered every angle of NBC's analysis. They're so incredibly lazy it's astounding. Fans using that crap is one thing, because they're frankly not educated in the game enough to look beyond it. "Experts" leaning heavily on it is pure laziness. Milbury is just such a huge joke, NBC should be ashamed. In the first intermission he took shots of the Rangers physicality (and stupid penalties) and called it passion. Then he called Kunitz finally going after someone for hitting Sid lack of composure. It wasn't smart, but it's amazing what lengths will be gone to to beat that horse to death. Then the passion thing...no. NO. You know why the Rangers have won the past two games? Execution. THAT is how you win hockey games.
And their goaltender is their best penalty killer.
Report: Crosby, Lundqvist avoid fines for Game 6 antics | ProHockeyTalk
I don't really care that much, but again, the NHL loves inconsistency. How in the world do you fine Thornton, and not Lundqvist? I just really want to know what separates those two altercations.
Honestly though: he hasn't played any better or worse game to game. He's been very good in all but *maybe* one game (was it 3 where his SV% was pretty bad?), but even that game the goals were on breakaways and his D was floating. He was trying to steal games when his team was being massively outplayed, and now the team up front is executing...and they've won 2 in a row. I think the Pens can rebound quickly, because lord knows they love to be inconsistent in any way possible, so I'm sure they'll come out and win running away to get Pens fans' collective hopes up, only to lose the next 2.
I can see King Henrik not being fined because it was "similar" to the Corey Perry water in the glove to Jeff Carter (it was during a stoppage in play) and not during the play and potentially dangerous (the Thornton water squirt to PK Subban). As for the Crosby "how do you do" spear, I gotta say that was worthy of a fine (not quite as bad as Lucic, but in the same ballpark).
narrative narrative old cliche narrative
Saw a stat today that said that Pens are 1-7 at home in elimination games under Disco Dan.
I just... wow. There really isn't anything to say there.
