^ Oh did you know they added rule 2.2.1 - Penguin Net size rule in the playoffs (or nicknamed the Bettman 's love affair with the Penguins rule).

Basically it states if these can work in the skills competition then this should be good enough for each team to try and score in it during the games when playing against the Penguins in the playoffs.

Interesting side note for all conspirarcy theorist out there, they are using CGI to help the illusion that the net is full size.

Been thinking about that. Not sure he was the best fit here in Cbus, but the first round showed that the Jackets have a critical weakness is speed and snipability (My word, just made it up). He clearly has both. I would have loved for him to stay (especially considering we got no usable assets for this year's run) but then again, we have no one anywhere near the level of Kopitar to get the puck to him.

Nah, we look like absolute shit. This has happened all season, the offense goes in hiding, nobody shows up. It's like we're a 1-man team(Hank) he's the only one who consistently shows up for us. The guy gets no support at all. The anemic PP has fucking killed us. I just don't get it, this isn't the same PP I watched all throughout the year, that was top 15 in the leage. We're 0-32, that's fucking disgusting. We haven't scored a PPG since game 2 against the Flyers.

R: Strategy. We're developing a plan on how to... ummm... address the goalie
A: Fleury? He couldn't stop a beach ball in round 1. We have scoring. Just get shots on net. We'll be fine.
*Nash and McDonagh look at each other and shrug*
R: And we're talking about how the schedule sucks.
A: Well, that's true. Carry on.

He has been solid to great the entire playoffs. 2 hiccup goals against the CBJ's was his only problem but he faced almost 50 shots that game...he's won way more than he has lost this year and it shows. Best Pens goalie ever...and if the Rags fans think he's porous, you aren't watching.


I think the Pens just feel way more confident this series and are rolling with the play and attitude they need to move towards a cup. They look like the team that was great all regular season and that should scare the Rags.


Remember, the Rags have never beaten the pens in a playoff series...I don't see it happening now.

I think it's a BS excuse, but not for any of the reasons cited in that article. I just look at the distance traveled. I mean, they played Philly in round one. That's a two hour drive for christ sakes!! How many western conference first round opponents were making three or four hour plane rides between their two cities?
