The Pens did have 15 shots on their power play. Plus we had 22 shots in the 1st.

Yeah as stated Rinne was unstoppable but that PP is awful. Even though they had 15 shots the quality and setup isn't there. Also they aren't getting second chances basically one and done off the breakout.

Carolina losing and us winning would put us in WC1. But Pitt losing and us winning would put us 1 point behind 3 rd in the division.

Maatta has been great in these first couple games back. Playing assertive hockey, with the puck and with the body, plus all his usual smarts. I think he's going to stick when Letang gets back.

Kessel has been dynamic on his new line. I think Bjugstad and Simon are going to open things up for him.

Crosby has amazing chemistry with Justin Schultz.
